The Ammo that most of the world uses comes out of the internationally recognized small arms weapons; the assault rifle. However ammo has a long and rich history in this country. Ammo is then used for quite some time and both assaults, defense, and statistical offense. Ammo is carried by all fighting soldiers; ammo is carried in rounds of all policemen and women; and ammo should be kept out of the hands of the wrong person's always.
To trace back to the true history of ammo in the world need to go back more than 500 years. However ammo should never be called a relic; its current relevance makes the story of ammo all that much more gripping. There are a number of different resources for you to tap in the search for the true history of ammo. However, there is a number of modern day, special interest groups who would like to see the disruption of ammo in the field; which could lead to civil unrest. I’m by no means defending the private use of guns and ammo. The only point I’m making by saying that is that it seems too far gone, too long past, and too far out for anyone in the modern community to embrace. Take that kid from Virginia Tech. He came in and murdered so many people, for no reason at all. He might have had a gripe; he might have been having a bad semester; so what? You’ll move on! You could even go write a column for Fox News or something! But instead, this nut job goes to a gun store, buys two guns and some ammo and goes and kills all those people! Now that would signal to me, if I didn’t know better, a real watershed moment. Wow, this would be a great time to talk about gun control and the cessation of sales of guns and ammo, I’d think. The only thing is that I know the Constitution and I know the paranoia out there. I’d have it too. What if we all laid down our guns? What would happen then? Who would come and take over our whole country? What would we do? It’s something larger than all that anyway. Most gun toting citizens are not psychopaths and are not likely to repeat what happened to that kid. Most realize it’s a right but it’s also a responsibility which can be taken away at any time. So rather than bicker about policy, I say, let’s embrace education; it’s the only way to take us from darkness to light.
