One of the most expensive things that you will probably pay in your lifetime is your health insurance. With the rising costs in the health care industry this shouldn't be a big surprise to people. health insurance keeps costing more and more everyday and it doesn't look like it will end anytime soon. their are some things you can do to avoid paying those higher premiums in the future. Many health care providers will give you breaks on your premiums if you don't smoke or drink or take drugs. It just makes sense for these people to give you a break if you take better care of yourself.
The one question you hear from people all the time is do I really need health insurance. I always give the same answer to that question and it's a resounding yes. People tend to not realize that health costs without insurance is something they could never afford. The cost of insurance is a lot cheaper than paying for open heart surgery out of your own pocket. In fact many hospitals won't do work on you if you don't have any insurance. Health insurance anymore isn't a choice it's something you must have. If you become sick the price will wipe out your life savings very quickly and than you will be left with nothing. Cheap health insurance is another option you have and it's probably not one I would consider only as a last resort. People don't realize their is a reason the price for the health insurance is so cheap. Coverage can vary with each carrier so knowing what is covered and what is not is very crucial. Many times you will buy health insurance and not really know what your getting before it's to late. Than when something does happen it's usually the consumer left holding the bag which in reality isn't a very good thing. If your thinking about dropping your health insurance than my advice is think again before it's to late. It's better to be safe than sorry adage works very well here. People never realize how important something is until they need it. Health insurance isn't a option it's something you must have in today's world. If you don't it could cost you more than you would had to pay if you just paid the premium.
