One of the first things you will need to know is what is a ATV. An ATV stands for all terrain vehicle. It's used a lot on farms and in remote areas to get places that you normally couldn't get with a truck or car. ATV's have seen a recent surge in popularity and it looks that won't change for a very long time. let's take a look at some of the uses of an ATV. ATV's are used a lot on farms as the vehicle of choose. On big farms framers may need to carry feed to a remote part of the farm and the ATV can get there and usually faster and at less cost. That's not the only use though.
Many of the new ATV's have pulling power and hauling abilities that will astound you. People are using ATV's to pull out stumps or carry loads of logs back to be cut up for firewood. People also use ATV's as recreational vehicles. Getting a group of friends together and taking ATV's through wooded area's where paths have been made has become very popular with the younger crowd. Their was a time when an ATV was real expensive and the sizes of the engines were all the same, but that has changed a lot. Companies have found out that people want lower prices and more powerful engines as they want to be able to use them for various duties. Smaller engines are also being put in ATV's as more kids are wanting to ride them as parents don't want them to have as much power as the bigger ones do. People love ATV's and keep coming up with new uses for ATV's are becoming the in thing to do. AS things get more expensive people are always looking for cheaper way to enjoy themselves and ATV's are becoming the joy of choice. As gas continues to rise the ATV will be used even more on farms and by contractors on building sites. People have realized how important and how much work these little powerful machines can do. If you want something different to do than maybe an ATV is something you may want to consider. ATV's are growing at a very quick rate and it looks like that will not stop in the near future and growth should continue to move upward.
