Flights are a ever changing part of society anymore. It use to be that you went to the airport and found the best flight and you were on your way. That has sure changed a lot. Flights are always changing and being delayed anymore. I think probably one of the biggest changes is the security in place which has made waiting for flights a long drawn out process. Let's take a look at how security has affect flights and getting on your flights.

With terrorist threats at a all-time high flights are being delay and canceled more often than ever before. This has really changed the way we do things in life and how early we have to get to the airport just to be able to catch our flights. Even cheap flights have seen a big impact from terrorist threats. The price of even cheap air flights have seen a modest increase in cost. People tend to be less willing to help you than before and you have to worry about things you never did before. You look over your shoulder as you never know who is a terrorist anymore. Flights are sometimes delay as the airlines want to make sure everyone is safe and sound.

Flights being delay isn't the only problem that has been happen lately that has change in the airline industry. Many times companies are delaying flights and people are sitting on the runway waiting to take off. People have places to be and certain people are under a certain time frame and flights being delayed isn't helping them. Since 9-11 our way of life especially when you talk about air travel has been turned upside down. The real question what will happen next with flights.

I think more and more delays will happen and people are going to get fed up with it and look for other ways to get around. One solution that I see more people doing is getting their own pilot license and flying themselves which is a scary thought. More airplanes isn't the answer especially with inexperience pilots behind the wheels of these small ultra light planes. I guess we will have to see what happens with the airline industry. I know something needs to be done as it's gotten to be a real hassle to catch a simple flight anymore.
